What are you doing???Where do you think you are going to be in the next Five years??What is the plan for your life??Who told you you are still young?? Huh?? Tell me,what is your plan to raise the hands of those that brought you into this world??
Do you want to live a life where your children will compare you to other people?? Or a Life where your child will ask you "Daddy/mummy, why can't we go to church in a car like Mr Roberts and his family"??
"Why can't i go to the movies like my friend James"?? What reply will you give when faced with these questions??
The truth is that you and I ought to rise to our feet and start creating our future because it is a taboo for your father to be greater than you. We all know how our families are and if our parents succeed more than us, then it is a disgrace on our path. We have to start now to know what we want to do else our children will ask us questions.
As young individuals, there is no better time to make your tomorrow today because a future not properly planned will only be wrapped up with mediocrity.
A man's youth is a gift from God,so why dont we use it now?? Why are you waiting till you graduate or till you get a degree or till you enter into a university before you start planning your life??
The truth is that if most of the so called "undergraduates" are asked to bring a blueprint and a plan for their life,you find out that majority don't even have any. They are just waiting for life to happen. Probably waiting for a convocation and then enter into the world with no plan of who or where they want to be or what they want to achieve. You find youths properly dressed roaming around the streets with nice sneakers and well polished jackets but nothing to show for.
As I write this, I have begun to address evert aspect of my life that needs to be addressed because after going out to the capital city of Lagos today,seeing so many people struggling to make a living, I begin to ask myself,is this what we the youths are going to join as we get to our late 30's and 40's?? It is a question you need to ask yourself. Do you want to join the majority in the fierce battle for just a living?? Just a living I say!!!
We are still in out early twenties,some of us are still even teenagers and it is our prime. Farrah gray became a millionaire at age 14 even in the midst of aridity because he decided not to join the majority in doing a particular thing!!! Guys, let's sit down and analyze our lives, let's ask ourselves questions that would stir us to do more. Do not be a boy when you ought to be a man. So sit down now,take a pen and a paper and begin to write down your vision for your life. Write down your short term and long term goals and write down your plans to achieve them.
If you want to be a music star,or model,strive and write out strategies to be the best. If you are a bookwarm who loves school,make plans that will distinguish you from other people. If you want to involve yourself in business or whatsoever you have discovered is the purpose of your life,write it down,put your plans on paper, start and start working towards achieving your dream. Do not just imagine yourself driving the best car. After imagination, you get to work.
Don't decieve yourself that you are a lady because that is the biggest deception of Life. Some ladies just wanna grow and get to the stage of marriage and just end up in a man's house. Cmon!!! You are bigger than that. Is it bad to be a lady CEO?? Is it bad to collect all the Grammy's as a lady?? How many ladies are billionaires in the world?? We can't count 5...too bad!!! Men don't want ladies that would just sit and wait for what they can offer,they want ladies that can motivate them to do more,Ladies that will push them to greater heights,Ladies that are MEN!!! So Ladies get to work,be a record breaker. Be the first lady in your entire family to fly in a plane. Be the first lady in your entire family to buy a car BY YOURSELF!!! YOU CAN DO IT!!!
Guys,there is no time. You have a unique ability and a gift that nobody else can match up with you on. There are billions of people in this world and there is NOBODY that has the same DNA as you. So it should make you know that you are different from every body and as we say it here in Nigeria " OYO LO WA" which means you are on your own. So get up,discover what you were born to do,write down plans on how to make MONEY and impact people positively with your gift,Write down plans for everything, starting from your personal life,to career life and down to everything. A plan will keep you guided and a vision puts you in line to achieving your dreams. I won't rest till we all make it to the top.
